I took this photo while on a Great American Photography Weekend workshop a few years ago. I hate heights, but somehow I managed to screw up my courage and get really near the edge for this image. How far down is it? Look at the cliffs in the distance. Several hundred feet at least.

So you were looking almost directly down here? Interesting that it gives more of a sense of distance than height. Nice picture!
